Chaotic Netflix crime thriller “Black Rabbit” is the streaming service’s latest hit original. The series throws us in with two brothers: one (Jake, played by Jude Law) is the owner of the titular promising restaurant and VIP lounger, and the other (Jason Bateman’s Vince) is a chaotic figure who crashes back into his life — bringing fresh trouble along with him.
Set against the backdrop of New York City’s high-pressure nightlife scene, this dark thriller follows Vince and Jake as they’re pushed to the brink both by their duty and their pursuit of success. That relationship is the backbone of the show, and seeing them confront all the dangers that come their way makes for compelling viewing, for sure.
Judging by the viewing figures, Netflix subscribers are hooked, too. In the days since its release on September 18, it’s been one of the most popular shows on the service (and peaked at the No. 1 spot in Netflix’s top 10 list not long after it debuted). If you’ve already binge-watched the entire season and you’re on the hunt for shows with a similar vibe, here are five more shows like “Black Rabbit” and where you can stream them right now.

I’ll kick this list off with a series that Netflix itself lists as a recommendation for “Black Rabbit” fans under the new show’s “More Like This” section: TNT’s “Animal Kingdom.”
This family crime drama ran for six seasons between 2016 and 2022 and follows the Cody family. After his mother passes away, 17-year-old “J” Cody (Finn Cole) moves in with his estranged relatives in Oceanside, California, where the Codys operate a criminal enterprise overseen by the formidable matriarch, Janine “Smurf” Cody (Ellen Burkin).
The show came to Netflix back in June and became a top 10 show upon its arrival. And if you’re looking for a show to really get drawn into after “Black Rabbit’s” eight-episode run, “Animal Kingdom” will keep you busy for some time: you’ve got 75 episodes of the Codys’ antics to get through here.
