A poll of roughly 2,000 American adults found that over 50 % admire the French lifestyle—especially the emphasis on quality food, rich arts and culture, and strong work‑life balance (with 60 % believing the French balance work and life better than Americans). About 22 % of respondents say they’d like to adopt French habits such as leisurely lunches, taking time for hobbies and cooking fresh meals.
