OHIO — Gov. Mike DeWine, R-Ohio, vetoed Senate Bill 50, which would have allowed minors to work until 9 p.m. on school nights. Current state law says minors between the ages of 14 and 17 can work with a permit during the school year, and 14- and 15-year-olds can’t work past 7 p.m. or work more than three hours on any school day.
